this blog is possibly the most pointless and sporadic blog i've ever written. but nobody reads it :)

hrmm today
i made several stupid mistakes on my math test which is very much not good

i also went to the baseball game which i was superr exciting :)) we beat SHS! yes but afterr i had to go back to school and be a tourguide for the small children (8th graders)
i have definitely developed respect for tourguides T_T it was so awful. and awkward. half the places we went to were locked D:

anyways they're pretty cute i suppose.

[23:19] oryloverpalex91: there's a charlie the unicorn #2
[23:19] oryloverpalex91: thoguht ud like to konw

BAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

anyways so in english, we finished the Great Gatsby and i've decided it's going on my nonexistent list of favorite books although i despise all the characters :/ well maybe nick less so but still, he loves jordan and she sucks D:
It's vanished trees, the trees that made way for Gatsby's house, had once pandered in whispers to the last and greatest of all human dreams; for a transitory enchanted moment man must have held his breath in the presence of this continent, compelled into an aesthetic contemplation he neither understood or desired, face to face for the last time in history with something commensurate to his capacity for wonder.
Gatsby believed in the green light, the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter--to-morrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further....And one fine morning----
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past
i suppose at one point i liked gatsy. actually, i think it was pity.
"now think about this before running off to the east for college" says mr hanlon
so impersonal and so cold.
:/ just thinking about it confuses me
i can't help but worry about gatsby's goals and how it relates to an almost universal dream of success. but do we ever reach it?
--------
i'm writing my gatsby paper about colors
--------
i think i should go study for history now :)
good night!
