yesterday, i went out with simi and then albert felt lonely so i went with him to the mall AGAIN and wasted so much time and got shoooper fat and then he was running late to a dinner date with winston so i had to go with him and guess who was late? winston.

My Sweet Escape
i finally fell asleep a couple hours after i went to bed last night and woke up exhausted but made it to church on time :) God is good.
i'm really really sad that i can't go to retreat :( and we're hosting it this year!! sigh.
i went to the SCend off lawl and there were so many harker children :P it was fun though, i met a lot of interesting people and we all socialized in a 38 million dollar home. it was excellent.
i met a girl from 1hoc who isn't going to retreat either and that made me feel better :) and she's already suggested that we fellowship-hop once we get to USC :P God is so good.
i also met some fellow fangirls hehhh
i'm really excited for school, i suppose. kind of. we got free stuff too!! that's my favorite kind of stuff.
with that, i leave you with a passage that joe so helpfully pointed out yesterday, one that went right over my head the first time i read it:

i am COMPLETELY blown away.
i don't usually go to fellowship and i thought, what the heck, i should make up for the years of not going and go the rest of the summer (aka the last three weeks before i leave) but what a weekend to go! i mean, fellowship went normally enough, logan brought some friends from agape lynbrook including joe! but yesss
at around 9PM we concluded fellowship and we went to tapex to hang out afterwards and what started as a casual tea outing turned into a five hour discussion about God and the less conservative side of christianity and i have to say my mind is on overdrive right now trying to process everything i just heard. we ended up hanging out until past closing time and we finally got kicked out of tap ex and continued the talk in the parking lot until the cops showed up, so we left for a 24 hour donut place so we wouldn't be loitering
it was insane, i mean i suppose joe did all the talking and we did the listening and the little question asking but i'm completely taken by surprise. when i first met joe three weeks ago, he was a very very quiet guy. but today i saw him in a completely different light. he confessed that he would rather talk about God than anything and i believe it, i have almost never seen anyone of our age speak with such conviction and courage. it's obvious what He can do with willing servants.
anyway, i promised i would spend quality time with Jesus and this was amazing timing. the insight that was shared today, between the 6 of us and eventually, the four of us, made me realize how shallow my faith seems to be, not because i am unwilling but because i am unexposed and not fully seeking Him.
but now it is 2AM and i am kind of sreepy, church tomorrow and i promised i wouldn't be late :/
praise the Lord that logan brought joe today, and that no scary men jumped me on the way home bcus i was really weirded out driving home at 1:45 AM. every time i break curfew, it's for church...shhh :P

HELLO EVERYONE
i am currently listening to run kid run and this blog is coincidentally named after one of their songs :) just remembered....anyway, these past few days have been good.
thursday:
i woke up super early! kind of, well not really! because i've been waking up early everyday, and went to SR to see 500 days of summer with won :)
what a cute movie, definitely not what i expected though...but i don't want to ruin it for you all so see it!! gordan-levitt is reallyyy cute. i felt this strange surge of anger when i saw UCLA's marching band in it. USC is succeeding in brainwashing me T_T haahahaha
anyway. so happy to see won :) even though he's left me AGAIN this morning for 9 days without any means of communication :((
then! i drove to church and waited for mah friends and then we departed for monterey!
i talk too much. siiigh
anyway. i am so thankful to God that it went well, we got cheaper tickets for going half day (DID NOT EVEN KNOW THIS WAS POSSIBLE!!) and got good standing space relatively close to the stage for almost all three concerts. traffic wasn't bad and parking wasn't bad at all.
the concerts were amazing :) GOD IS AMAZING :D hah. i got matthew west's autograph but we were too lazy to get jeremy camp's hahaha and we didn't see kutless this year :/ but we saw them at the autograph thing hah.
anyway, there is nothing quite like hanging with hundreds of Jesusfreaks. on a very full bladder and a sore back -_____-
tiring, but fun day.
now they're making me wear my "i <3 hardcore Christian boys" to church today -_-
friday:
met with won at 12 and hung out with him until around 3PM when he left me agaain :( so sad.
then i hung out with albert and we did lame things HAH jk like get lots of food and hang out at the park and talk about his SM video he's submitting to them. i hope he becomes a famous chinese kpop star and he can make retarded shout outs to me on tv <3 :)

mmm hello!
i haven't done anything this week. on tuesday, i spent the morning at simi's house doing secret ____ things lawl andd baking cupcakes :) we made chocolate cupcakes with vanilla cream cheese frosting, yumm :9 so good. i ate three in one day :X sighhh. after i departed from her house, i bought some necessities and went home. that is all!
and today....also didn't do anything. half expecting ____ to ask to hang out but also know that she/he won't bcus she/he never does. flaky=no :(
siiigh this summer has been too short.
going to college soon :X dislike.
tomorrow, though, is spirit west coast yaaaay i haven't gone in like three years :( david crowder band! matthew west! jeremy camp! kinda bummed about missing hawk nelson but oh well! sacrifices must be made. tres tres excited to be going again :))))
i desperately want to see 500 days of summer. and frolick on the beach. and watch a meteor shower (the drama AND the real thing :D), go to petroglyph, move away. kind of.

these past few days have been ridiculously looong and uneventful :( except last night! but yes.
i can't wait till...next week, which is technically tomorrow, but whatever.
hmm yesterday, jeff, pao, barrett, and i went to palace and ate meat. which was good. and then barrett drove us all the way to palo alto to drink the best milkshakes with the best whipped cream in the world at this creamery. and thenn we went to pao's house where we ate some pie (that he spent thirty dollars on at the creamery!!) and watched mall cop. congratulations pao for picking a TERRIBLE movie. anyway yes, that was 5 hours of fun and mayhem and korean bbq
i also finished harry potter book 6! i officially have no life!
anyway, i am hoping that i will have interesting things to do from now on and interesting people to see.

Tibet part 1!
hellooo readers. i am sitting here at 11PM and i am very lonely :( and i've decided to write a little bit about tibet so you'll know what to expect when you go! because i strongly recommend going once in your life :P preferably with a tour guide you understand completely :P
1. my friend and i stayed at the pullman, this really nice hotel in dongguan for a night after our trek across hong kong and entering chinese borders. this was quite difficult as we carry american and canadian passports but anyhow! we spent the day eating, sleeping, and catching up on facebook -_____- we awoke at the wonderful hour of 4AM the next day and showered (long story) and hurried to the airport to catch our flight.
2. we took a connecting flight to xining. there, we met one of our tourguides who took us to this...lake. which wasn't exactly spectacular considering it was very rainy the day we went and we were all really groggy and it took like 2.5 hours just to drive there and we only spent like half an hour there -___- lawl. then we hurried back and ate a 5-minute dinner to catch our 9PM 24 hour train to lhasa <3
3. we were lucky to leave the restaurant when we did because we encountered some difficulties when we got on the train. at the end, we managed to get all 6 of our travel group in one 6-bed cabin and it was a happy ending! or so my friend and i thought. this part was the most uncomfortable part of our journey -___- there wasn't much to see after 9PM so my friend and i climbed up to the very top bunk, being the youngest, and slept the night away. kind of. we woke up and the old people made us do productive things such as look at the scenery siighhh still 13 hours :(
4. we traveled through BEAUTIFUL scenery, lots of animals, and wonderful snow-capped mountains. we also passed through altitudes of 5,000 meters, intense right?? they have emergency oxygen supplies in case you pass out (someone in our group did but was saved by a laptop-wielding man!) and there is rumored to be an ice box to put the dead bodies O_O anyway. let me tell you the reasoning behind this train ride. this would be your wisest decision because if you were to take a plane, i would gurantee that you would pass out the minute you stepped off the plane as your body has not adjusted to the high altitudes. although the train was supplied a bit with oxygen, you could still definitely feel the effects :X
5. we finally arrived in lhasa at around 10 PM and met our tourguide WANG DAO lawl what a funny man. anyway, he gave us these white silk scarves, a traditional sign of respect, and we were on our way to the lhasa four points sheraton.
i love this hotel.
6. even this night, after two plane rides, a long road trip, and a 24 hour train where the toilet was a hole and no one bothered to undress for "bed," we were still not allowed to shower because of the danger it posed. wang dao said we could shower the next NIGHT sighhh and even then, we had to leave the door open to let steam out and stuff -___-

i had a dream
a couple nights ago and it had to be the weirdest dream i have ever had O_O
anyway, i'm PRETTY sure it began with ana, simi, and i having to jump from this helicopter or something of that nature and we were plunged into the icy depths of a glacial ocean with the sole objective of swimming underwater until we found the shore. for some reason it never occurred to any of us that we should be swimming upward before we ran out of oxygen. but then this brilliant idea happened on ana and we just HAPPENED to swim through one solitary hole in the ice, the only hole for like, miles, or something. anyway, from there, we could see land/a beach (with sand and everything....lawl so tropical!) and we swam there and when we got closer and were randomly clinging onto a mini iceberg, simi whips out her phone and it says it's got "bear reception" on it which means both that there are bears on that piece of land and that she can call. and i took mine out and it says there is "monkey reception" and i got all excited bcus i was certain this was my motherland, australia.
but no, it gets weirder.
when we get close enough, there is this MASSIVE sign that says "WELCOME TO LOS ANGELES" with a smiling sun and we're like wott and we run into the guys (i specifically remember barrett asking where we'd been) and we were all there on some sort of seniortriplagunabeach kind of adventure.
then the scene shifts and i'm with mai and unknownmale? and we're in like chinatown. and we were really desperate for some pure aloe harvested from the aloe plant and we spied some on the top of someone's house and the houses were all very victorian. anyway, we snuck in and climbed all the way to the top and snipped off the leaves and began to come down. i remember waiting in anticipation for that moment we could run away in freedom with our aloe leaves but the owners of the house catch us and all we did was ask very calmly if we could have some aloe and they said yes. then we saw sabrina paseman and her brother sitting at the foot of the stairs. in my dream, i vaguely remembered that she was in hong kong and asked her how hong kong was except the weird thing was that she was like...a younger version and she just looked at me with this confused face (bcus she hadn't, in fact, gone to hong kong). then we finally escaped and we were on the streets and i was telling every street vendor our exciting story bcus mai magically happened to be in the iceberg adventure too.

i've just been freaking lazy since i got home from orientation and maybe i don't even plan on blogging about tibet! sighhh.
1. THIS WEEKEND WAS GREAT. or well, sunday. we spent it at alex he's house screwing around with old friends and indulging in quality girl gossip.
2. monday, we arose after a long night bright and early at noon and went to harker! hooray!
3. HARRY POTTER PREMIER on tuesday was flipping AWESOME bcus, well, we got to see it four hours early, and bcus i got to see seany megan naomi and barrett! well, mostly seany naomi and megan since i saw barrett the past two days. we ate at armadillo willy's sooo gooood :) i love that place.
hanway, it was fun walking out of the theatre a full hour before the suckers in line could even get into theres :) teehee
4. i didn't do anything all day! and then sean texted me about the miraculous tournament going down at saratoga high but to be honest i was way too lazy to drive the whole two miles. but then the guys came later to pick me up after their match and they sent the two guys who don't know where i live. so david got out of his car, convinced it was my house, and serenaded a large white man three houses down. it was excellent.
anyway, we watched napolean dynamite, it was terribly hilarious. terrible. and hilarious.
5. i didn't do anything today.

since coming back from china, i haven't really had time to upload photos/too lazy or write about my trip but i promise that that's coming soon!

i just saw a fleece blanket with a toucan on it. it seemed to be rainforest themed hehe i want it.

Today has been totally uneventful, all I've done is sit at home and talk to Won anddd yah. I wanted to go to Mongkok but it was pouring on and off and I felt kind of yucky :(
Jackie Chan is such a baller.
Yesterday, my dad took me to Festival Walk at Kowloon Tong annd then Sha Tin mall on the way to dinner. Yesterday was very tiring :(

heeheehe I bought it on Mongkok (of course) for really really cheap and it's...beautiful!
Oh I got the Ice Cream LG btw :) The only thing I'm bummed about is that the unlocked version (basically any version outside of Korea) doesn't have an internal camera so I can't camwhore like Kim Tae Hee or anything T_T but she's got the Ice Cream 2 which is fuglier. Anyway, I've also been reading soompi and there have been some pretty negative reviews but I'm crossing my fingers bcus the phones bought in Mongkok are magical. :) /on steroids! Anyway, I'm hoping that since I didn't buy it in the U.S. or Canada or on Ebay, mine will be perfectly fine.
I want to go shopping today. Hm, my second day in Hong Kong....
Well, we first went to Mongkok and bought my phone and wandered around nu ren jie and various other places. Then we had lunch and I got all jetlagged so we just chilled at home -_-

Hong Kong Day 1
The plane ride sucked :( 13 hours. I wish someone would just invent teleportation -__- that's not even a word in the blogger dictionary! ridiculous.
Anyway, I saw an inordinate number of people I knew on my plane -_-
BUT it's good to be back :D teehehefdk all I've done is eat though since I got here at 6 PM
and now I am awake at 5AM (2PM your time, the hottest time of day LAWL) and I'm hungry :( So I will eat Milo cereal. (WHY DON'T THEY MAKE THAT IN THE US).
Oh I briefly went cell phone shopping at the mall, like in the real stores and was kinda disappointed BUT they had the LG Ice Cream!! fadojf I WANT.
Hopefully I'll get to go to Mongkok before making a decision. And hopefully my mom gets me unlimited texting. And hopefully Won starts talking back on gmail -_-.

I went out with Simi to buy things that we didn't even end up using this week!! :( Mayhaps this coming week...

I watched Star Trek with Won, he was pleased about that hahaa
and etc.
Wednesday
Had lunch with Logiebear and Henry at Red Robins, which was really really good and took like two hours. Got to see Lynbrooks yearbook too! Really different from ours. But the biggest difference is that the opening and the closing are entirely incomprehensible.
I also went to the library and borrowed some books, I JUST finished Pretties by Scott Westerfield. It's the sequel to Uglies and what I HATE about these books is that they all end in a cliff hanger. So I'll have to go to the library tomorrow to get Specials. It's a sci-fi series, actually, and it's pretty interesting. Eyeopening social criticism on conformity, change, and superficiality. I definitely recommend it :)

I hung out with Simi, we ate at the foodcourt and wandered around aimlessly. Kind of. I went to three graduations too, what a ridiculously tiring two hours O_O
My plan was go see Henry by 6:30PM at Prospect (they started at 6:00 PM and he's the tenth person to be called), go by Lynbrook and see at LEAST Logan (they started at 6:30 PM and he's the sixth person), drive super fast to Monta Vista and see Megan (they started at 6:00 PM and she's like, the last row or something!) and MAYBE see Cupertino (they started at 6:30 PM and Alice was in the second to last row). It was an AMAZING PLAN. Except Prospect ran late, so I went straight to MV and spent like half an hour looking for Megan. We almost missed her, but we did run into four different Harker kids/alum -__-. Then Cupertino :) made up to the Lynbrook kids at dinner haahahaha. We ate at Chevy's, the same place I ate at after MY grad :)
It felt kinda weird to be the only graduate who had graduated almost a month ago O_O
But talking about college was fun, the guys gave me a lot of advice on how to survive at USC :P
Friday
Baseball game! A's v. Giants. A's lost though, unfortunately :( It was quite disappointing. But it was still fun to sit in the box with the guys and co. :) (Drew's grandfather is Lew Wolff O_O, DREW AND THE OAKLAND A's ARE ON A FIRST NAME BASIS.) It wasn't even that cold and the ice cream hadn't run out by the seventh inning stretch so we all paid 8 dollars for some Ghiradelli's ice cream sundaes :9 Life is good.
MMM cracker jacks, free nachos, peanuts, garlic fries, chicken tenders homnomnomnom
We stayed in the room for a good twenty minutes to avoid traffic and took a very interesting elevator ride down....
It rained that night!
Hung around Seany's front yard for God knows why and then went downstairs and watched Superbad which was superbad. Well, not really, but it didn't have much of a point besides the whole "coming of age" thing -___-. That and I was the only "girl" in the room haahahaha awkward questions ftw.
Got home late.
Saturday
David's grad party! Was pretty fun, the food was good, the company was great. It was full of random things like the Ninja Game and karaokeing and having strange conversations by the hot tub. A fabulous bash for sure. :D
Then..late into the night...
Party at Doherty's of course. This time, we watched Officespace which was kind of ridiculous and I was apparently the only one who hasn't seen it yet. It wasn't THAT funny, but Milton was great.
Got home late again.
Sunday
Of course, woke up late for church :/ Service was good, but hard to concentrate. Sigh, that is no good. A lot of college kids came back, which was cool, got to talk to Kathy and Johnny.
Hmm...went to lunch at In n Out with Won and hung out all afternoon :)
And that is all.
I BOUGHT A MAC BTW, but before anyone gets excited, it's the oldschool white one. Not the new macbook pro. It came with a free iPod Touch, though. That already came.

Hung around Seany's front yard for God knows why and then went downstairs and watched Superbad which was superbad. Well, not really, but it didn't have much of a point besides the whole "coming of age" thing -___-. That and I was the only "girl" in the room haahahaha awkward questions ftw.

David's grad party! Was pretty fun, the food was good, the company was great. It was full of random things like the Ninja Game and karaokeing and having strange conversations by the hot tub. A fabulous bash for sure. :D
Then..late into the night...
Party at Doherty's of course. This time, we watched Officespace which was kind of ridiculous and I was apparently the only one who hasn't seen it yet. It wasn't THAT funny, but Milton was great.
Got home late again.
Sunday
Of course, woke up late for church :/ Service was good, but hard to concentrate. Sigh, that is no good. A lot of college kids came back, which was cool, got to talk to Kathy and Johnny.
Hmm...went to lunch at In n Out with Won and hung out all afternoon :)
And that is all.
I BOUGHT A MAC BTW, but before anyone gets excited, it's the oldschool white one. Not the new macbook pro. It came with a free iPod Touch, though. That already came.

I am still succeeding in doing absolutely nothing this summer :(
Friday (FOUR MONTHS):
I went to the Y with Simi and then we went to Tartini, I spent 6 dollars :( Then I went home and Anthony picked me up. We went to get his tux from Mens Wearhouse and it took like HALF AN HOUR. I honestly don't understand why it takes guys so long to put on tuxes -_- Anyway, then we went to Mai's house to battle her dog, Foxy Grandfather. Afterwards, we ate a bunch of crap and watched fob videos on Youtube for like...2 hours. The end!
Saturday:
I woke up shoooper late -___- and went to the park with the bf :)

I woke up at 10:15 AM for church -___- The sermon was for the graduates, mostly. And then they bid us farewell :( So sad. Sigh, I will be leaving a church I've attended since the second grade :/ that's 10 years!!
Afterwards, some of us went to Chipotle to eat lunch. Many unmentionable things occured there. Then they decided to follow me home where James needed to urinate in my bathroom.
I washed my car yesterday! Yes for something productive!
One of the things 4Hoc gave us was a Starbucks gift card and a note that read "Help for your first all-nighter."

June:

2. Go to at least one game of the A's v. Giants series before leaving for the motherland
3. Finish up those grad parties :D
4. See all the summer movies that are coming out
5. THEN the rest of the month will be spent in HK/Tibet :D

2. Orientation down in L.A. 6-7
3. Attempt to continue to work out in anticipation for FRESHMAN 15 :(

Hm...today, I went by Harker to pick up four years worth of crap from the yb room andd help Mr. Daren clean/mail back PDAs. Which took a long time.
Afterward...

OH HARROS
Yesterday, Seany picked me up on the way to Elena's and we joined the rest of the partayy in enjoying some pretty good food and meeting Sejal (AHAHAHAAHAHAHA). Afterwards, in attempt to cure my slump in actually having a life without school, we decided to do something "fun." First, we went to Gold's Gym and the three guys joined as step one of their plan to "get big" this summer. Conveniantly, Mr. Glasauer was there so he gave us a tour. The place gives me the creeps but I might as well visit the guys sometimes when they're there. "Steff-o, we can't protect you here." AJDOI BIG MUSCLES D:. Then we were given the mission of delivering 6 cartons of bouqets to Bucknall for the dance show so we did that. THEN we had to go shopping for Mrs. Mandell so we browsed Santana Row and took a promenade to Valley Fair.
Our first stop of eatingthroughthemall was Pizza My Heart where we all had one slice and a free shirt, which we quickly donned. Paul bet Barrett I wouldn't wear it over my dress and is now one dollar poorer. Then, as the Mandells and I browsed Claire's (HAHA) the guys bought copious amounts of Auntie Anne's pretzels. Next, we went to Abercrombie and had a wild dance party in there because that is honestly the only useful thing the store is good for. We left due to lack of oxygen (the place reeks). THEN we hit the food court and Barrett bought 60 mini cookies to share.
The rest of the day/night was spent at Seany's where I looked at childhood pictures of Barrett and Seany as pre-k-ers at St. Andrews and the guys shot hoops. Paul made us some of his "famous" lemonade and we stalked people on facebook and watched "The Waterboy." Then we wasted away in his basement as usual.
Today, I woke up SUPER late for church, but it was good to be back. After service, I headed over to Seany's and then to AT&T park for the Giants v. the Cardinals :B It was a fun game, fun drive, the Giants won!
Okay weather too :)
This weekends been good. I WANT TO GO TO WARPED TOUR PLZ.

Now what to do...
As a graduated 17-year-old kid with a license, the only remotely interesting thing I've done since summer has started is go to school.
Seriously, that has to be the lamest thing ever. Not that I haven't been doing other things such as shopping and movies but I have an urge to actually do something super exciting. Yet I'm LAZY sighhh.
As of now, my tentative summer plans include going to HK and possibly Tibet and coming home just in time to get over jetlag and board a plane to LA for orientation. After that, I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with myself for a month but I'm thinking Bikram yoga sounds both good and painful.

SENIOR WEEK :)
SO this week has been ridiculously long, just 7 days ago, we were enjoying our first night in Laguna....
SPEAKING OF WHICH,
SENIOR TRIP:
Sunday: Woke up too early to be legal and boarded a bus to Laguna. Stopped at a rest stop and ate McDonald's for breakfast and spent a total of 7 hours on a bus watching Top Gun and 5 hours worth of How I Met your Mother.
Our bus was the last one and we wandered around the surrounding area waiting for the other buses to clear out whilst listening to Julianne rap to Jizz in my Pants on the loudspeaker. We got there last and decorated our cute sand buckets :)
NEXT, we all went to the beach and had some fun under the clouds. HAHA the guys made competing sand castles and we basically played in the water for a few hours.
We had dinner with our advisor, Mr. Colletti. We went to this Mexican restaurant and he gave us back the goals we wrote to ourselves at the start of senior year.
1. Watch the sunrise on the beach
2. Try to get to know everyone in my grade
3. Beat the juniors
I think I accomplished only one...kind of. Anyway, then he returned the letters we wrote to ourselves in sophomore year and it is RIDICULOUSLY embarrassing...sigh
The surprise, though, was getting letters from our parents, which Mr. Colletti had them write at the start of the year. Of course they all failed at that and wrote it in the last like, week of senior year. Anyway, pretty much for the next twenty minutes, almost the whole table cried. Over what their parents said, over graduation, over everything. Then Kaytee cheered us up by reading the "10 Rules for Dating my Daughter" sent by her father.
We went back to the hotel and PASSED OUT YEARBOOKS, after an epik 5.0 earthquake. We also had an icecream sundae party and hung out in each other's rooms until 11PM when Winny and I fell asleep after watching episodes of Parental Control.
Monday: We wandered in the downtown direction in search of food that was not overrun by Harker kids and found a cafe where we ate bagels. It was still too early in the morning. We wandered down to the beach and joined our class in some good spirited and COLD frolicking in the waters. I waited until it warmed up. Anyway, watching people attempt to skimboard was VERY fun to do. After some sandy play, the guys and the ovaries went to this EXCELLENT pizza place and had some really good food, and then returned to the beach for some serious wave jumping. I proceeded to get a SLIGHT tan, get beaten by the waves, take a long walk with Andy and Rachel to the tide pools, and thrown in the ocean four different times in 5 minutes. AFTER I had some of my clothes on :(

Well then we went back to clean up and prepare for dinner, I went to Brian and Daniel's room to join an awkward party before heading down to the lobby to find some food. The guys ended up sprinting half the way downtown just to beat another big group to the excellent sushi restaurant.
The best part was that it was ALL YOU CAN EAT, twenty dollars!! I had 8 plates worth of food and Kevin Kim said I ate like a man. Anyway, we ran back, basically, because we were almost late to the bonfire (AKA Mr. Keller standing in the middle with a box of tshirts).
Anyway, the bonfire made me super sad and reluctant about leaving, I cried a couple times just because what people said really made me realize how awful life will temporarily be without this group of people :(

After that, we had some excellent hot chocolate and I called Won and was all sad about leaving. Then we crashed at the guys and wandered down to the beach to join some other children for some night time playing. It was BEAUTIFUL and the water felt much warmer due to the colder night time air. I dunno, there was probably no where else on earth I would have chosen to be at that moment than on the beach at night with my class.
We went back to our rooms and packed, kind of. Watched some T.V. and talked until 1AM when Winny and I decided to call it a night.
Tuesday: Woke up and wandered around to the Koffee Klatch which is a TOTALLY adorable coffee house with awesome deco. We grabbed some food and sat on the beach, pretty much alone, for the last half hour. The rest of the day was really just crappy travel time and 7 hours of How I Met your Mother.
SENIOR PRANK
Began the night we got back from Laguna, the senior prank committee revealed a couple nights ago that our prank was going to be SENIORLAND, an amusement park set up for our amusement primarily, but also hopefully others as well. Classes were not canceled and the kids thought it was a terrible prank but every senior I talked to thought it was amazing so I would say it was a smashing success! :)
We stayed until 11PM setting up for the rollercoaster, drive-in movie, and petting zoo.
The next morning, we came to school bright and early at 7AM to act as a welcoming committee, chasing down children in a mob of white glory, tying balloons to their wrists, stamping their hands, and shoving maps in their faces. It was ridiculous fun.
The rest of the day was excellent, the rollercoaster ran screaming down the hall 9 times throughout the day at strategically timed occasions all ending in the digit of 9 and it had to be my favorite part. Kids came out of class to watch :)
The house of the occult was HILARIOUS, we captured three history classes in seances and put them in the zoo. Feeding time was the best and Joe and Lexi were amazing as tour guides. The drive-in movie was super duper cute and the sign was awesome, if I do say so myself ;) hehe
Anyway, senior prank was excellent and the most fun I had since...well...Monday.

BACCALAUREATE
Not very interesting, went shopping with Deniz and came back kind of late but just in time for the start, the speeches were AWESOME, indicative of our class as Jeff says. I agree. I loved Mr. Silk and DKs speech. Especially DKs because I was mentioned in it personally :) teehee
Afterwards, we all went to Falafel Drive-In only to realize that it was closed!! So we went to Daniel's house instead and had won ton soup and watched basketball games.
AWARDS CEREMONY DAY
We had our alumni luncheon which made me even more nostalgic and sad. The food was great except for the part where lousy sophomores stole it. The music made me kind of sad, especially after spending a good two hours after the end of lunch writing letters to our future selves to put in the time capsule and signing yearbooks. GHHOASJDOSAI By the end of that day, I definitely did not want to graduate.
Seany's grad party was that night, their house/party was AMAZING O_O GEEZ, valet parking?? Wtf. Anyway, we danced the night away, kind of. Left around 11PM so I could go home and write that darned senior essay :)
GRADUATION
I woke up that morning deciding that I DEFINITELY did not want to graduate and my stomach was all butterfly-y up until we began walking out of the door. But when I got to the winery it wasn't so bad bcus everyone was there and it made me feel a bit better :)
It was hot, the speeches were good, and I dunno, I suddenly got excited that we were graduating. After I got my diploma, I was filled with this odd feeling of happiness that carried on for quite a bit and now looking back on photos of us throwing our mortarboards or whatever, I guess high school graduation would be one of those events I would relive anytime. Afterward was definitely chaotic and when we finally got out of it, I ended up eating with Deniz's family for lunch and then hanging out with her and some random underclassmen outside of Tartini (don't ask).
We then watched Angels and Demons and yah. That was that.
BTW, brunch this morning was excellent. Lots of good food and conversation :) I'm going to miss my friends so much :(
I can honestly say that I was looking forward to graduation so much up until this past week, which made me feel bittersweet about leaving.
Thanks for the memories, '09 :) I'll never forget you!
But now that I'm out of school, I have nothing to do. Thank God for grad parties.

Tuesday: Woke up and wandered around to the Koffee Klatch which is a TOTALLY adorable coffee house with awesome deco. We grabbed some food and sat on the beach, pretty much alone, for the last half hour. The rest of the day was really just crappy travel time and 7 hours of How I Met your Mother.
SENIOR PRANK
Began the night we got back from Laguna, the senior prank committee revealed a couple nights ago that our prank was going to be SENIORLAND, an amusement park set up for our amusement primarily, but also hopefully others as well. Classes were not canceled and the kids thought it was a terrible prank but every senior I talked to thought it was amazing so I would say it was a smashing success! :)
We stayed until 11PM setting up for the rollercoaster, drive-in movie, and petting zoo.
The next morning, we came to school bright and early at 7AM to act as a welcoming committee, chasing down children in a mob of white glory, tying balloons to their wrists, stamping their hands, and shoving maps in their faces. It was ridiculous fun.
The rest of the day was excellent, the rollercoaster ran screaming down the hall 9 times throughout the day at strategically timed occasions all ending in the digit of 9 and it had to be my favorite part. Kids came out of class to watch :)
The house of the occult was HILARIOUS, we captured three history classes in seances and put them in the zoo. Feeding time was the best and Joe and Lexi were amazing as tour guides. The drive-in movie was super duper cute and the sign was awesome, if I do say so myself ;) hehe
Anyway, senior prank was excellent and the most fun I had since...well...Monday.

BACCALAUREATE
Not very interesting, went shopping with Deniz and came back kind of late but just in time for the start, the speeches were AWESOME, indicative of our class as Jeff says. I agree. I loved Mr. Silk and DKs speech. Especially DKs because I was mentioned in it personally :) teehee
Afterwards, we all went to Falafel Drive-In only to realize that it was closed!! So we went to Daniel's house instead and had won ton soup and watched basketball games.
AWARDS CEREMONY DAY
We had our alumni luncheon which made me even more nostalgic and sad. The food was great except for the part where lousy sophomores stole it. The music made me kind of sad, especially after spending a good two hours after the end of lunch writing letters to our future selves to put in the time capsule and signing yearbooks. GHHOASJDOSAI By the end of that day, I definitely did not want to graduate.
Seany's grad party was that night, their house/party was AMAZING O_O GEEZ, valet parking?? Wtf. Anyway, we danced the night away, kind of. Left around 11PM so I could go home and write that darned senior essay :)
GRADUATION
I woke up that morning deciding that I DEFINITELY did not want to graduate and my stomach was all butterfly-y up until we began walking out of the door. But when I got to the winery it wasn't so bad bcus everyone was there and it made me feel a bit better :)
It was hot, the speeches were good, and I dunno, I suddenly got excited that we were graduating. After I got my diploma, I was filled with this odd feeling of happiness that carried on for quite a bit and now looking back on photos of us throwing our mortarboards or whatever, I guess high school graduation would be one of those events I would relive anytime. Afterward was definitely chaotic and when we finally got out of it, I ended up eating with Deniz's family for lunch and then hanging out with her and some random underclassmen outside of Tartini (don't ask).
We then watched Angels and Demons and yah. That was that.
BTW, brunch this morning was excellent. Lots of good food and conversation :) I'm going to miss my friends so much :(
I can honestly say that I was looking forward to graduation so much up until this past week, which made me feel bittersweet about leaving.
Thanks for the memories, '09 :) I'll never forget you!
But now that I'm out of school, I have nothing to do. Thank God for grad parties.

Today, my girlfriend and I went down to the pier. I brought an empty bottle and some paper, and we both constructed a massive letter expressing our passionate love for each other. We stuck it in the bottle, and threw it out to sea, only to see it explode in slow motion on a protruding rock. FML

was amazing! I could have definitely spent more than a couple days there.
However, it is good to be home!

Finally!
It feels like everything is coming together...
School should be and essentially IS over but NO, I had an in-class essay today and a test tomorrow :( but that is okay!
Today was up and down
I got it today. Which is kinda :| sigh.
Anyway, after school, Simi bailed on the nail appointment so I tagged along with Nay Nay and Deniz. However, Simi messed up on the appointment and only scheduled two full sets so I feel like it was fate that Simi couldn't come on this particular day. Because I wasn't intending on doing my nails. Anyway, the place smelled kinda gross and IMO it was sort of overpriced and I dunno, but I hope they're happy with them though :) they're pretty!
Then we got Chipotle :)
I got my nails done somewhere else, my real nails. And I like them :) It was the first time I got them done and the lady told me a couple times how nice my nails were which made me :) because they're pretty much the only part of my body I like (although Won says they're not REALLY a legit part of my body. -_-)

OH ALSO, I went back to the tux place after getting betched out by the crazy russian lady on the phone and I found a whole rack of Harker tuxes (hahahaaaa) and found Won's so I asked the dude if I could switch colors tomorrow if I brought my dress in and he said yes so I'm happy :)
AND Won and I are no longer nomads! I guess he found something to do before prom so we're no longer loners (hahaa...-_- so unwanted!! D:) and I'm actually really happy about how everything turned out. Now to convince his mom to let him hang out a little after :/
I hope we do something fun :) I want to eat.

Yesterday was a good day, I came to Harker around EH and sat in the sun and chatted with fellow seniors about prom/fro-yo/life in general. I went to APSA and Mr. Kameda came late T_T we had this reasonable urge to lock him out and tell him to come back for a later session. The whole thing took about half an hour longer than it should have because he was late. BUT a whole year's worth of work, photographed, uploaded, shipped away!
Then Won and I went to the mall to get his tux. But the more I think about it, the less it matches. Oh well! The lady on the phone was kind of rude to me! And had a strange accent. She was mean to Thomas too -_- must be busy. Anyway, then we watched an epic baseball game where the coach got thrown out of the game for being a JERK haha and we thoroughly thrashed them on our senior night :) half the team is graduating...
Seany, Paul, and I went to dinner and came back for the vball game, which was ALSO epic. The teams were pretty evenly matched but we beat them 3-1 in the end! :)
NOW I am studying for Psych :( only to avoid studying for APes, it's the lesser of two evils. But still very very very evil D: siiigh

Contemplations whilst sipping on jelly drinks with Jay Chou's face on them
Today was a good day, as was yesterday, I suppose. Not the whole day, but most of it...
To be honest, though, these few days at school have been completely useless in terms of learning anything. We went on a speed run to Yumi Yogurt ten minutes before the start of 7th yesterday. Not only did we (nearly) make it back in time for class (I think I was the only one with a "legit" academic commitment...) I also succeeded in calling shotgun TWICE in Seany's trippy newish car, spot a balding middle-aged man who has the same shirt as Barrett, and hurt my tongue from eating frozen yogurt at high speeds :/
We also played jeopardy in APes, which was quite enjoyable.
I got my prom dress today! Which is kinda late, but I ended up getting the one at Group USA which is like, 7 sizes too big. I'm getting it altered, though, so :)
ALSO, BIG NEWS, WHOOOO
THE YEARBOOK IS HERE :)))) AND THEY ARE BEATIFUL. I think so, the rest of yb thinks so. Now, to please? the rest of the school...hehehe
Today was beyond exciting. Hooray for good days! :)
Erm, advisory was fun :) there were only four of us but we all had a good time gossiping with Mr. Colletti about prom, valedictorian, and the JETs competition. HAHA nerd gossip :)
It's been a good four years, and advisory is up there on the list of things I'll miss most about high school/Harker.
Also on that list:
-My friends. I honestly have the best of friends, they make me smile when I'm having a crappy day, and make me want to piss my pants from laughing too hard. I like going out with them late at night for big eating, or just hanging out at Seany's. I like being "one of the guys" and confiding all my secrets in them but being that girl too, the one that they confide in.
And my girlfriends :) There's just too much to say about the amazing people I've met during my time at Harker :B
Oh and those fine underclassmen I will miss so dearly ;)
-Those spring picnics we used to have all the time a couple years back
-Spirit week
-Dances and formals and all the dresses, dates, and drama that come with it!
-YEARBOOK
-Having personal relationships with teachers, learning is just 5X better when you really make a connection
-How it's okay to be a nerd, because everyone else is too!

Today, I went to the Saratoga Rotary Art Show and decided that if I could find jewelry in the two specific colors my potential prom dress is, it's a sign from God that I should buy it. While i did find pretty earrings in the right shade of purple, no dice :/

Class of '09 Spirit-David Kastelman!
Hmm, today I thought I'd post a little bit about spirit and spirit competitions at school.
So to tell you the truth, I've never truly loved spirit in high school up until this year. I mean I've enjoyed a lot of it, but the part that really was a bit jarring, was just how much of 'spirit' was focused on making fun of other classes in skits and what not. I mean it can be funny sometimes...
To me spirit is like half-intense-sports-game half class bonding. Spirit has been best when the class is jumping up and down and yelling for no other reason than to be 'spirited.' Spirit is definitely an epitome of one part of high school, the part that emphasizes that we're not quite yet adults, cuz we are far too 'zany' to be adults just yet, which means that we can and should still yell and chest bump and wave our foam fingers in the air with abandon. Spirit is also definitely a part of class bonding. Spirit is more about seeing classmates that have gone to school together for 10 years but have never said more than 10 words to each other prior to 'spirit,' hug each other after a successful dance rehearsal. What better way is there to get to know your classmates than over a chorus of '90s britney spears in the midst of learning a dance routine.
So I guess I don't really care too much whether or not the class of '09 finishes with the most or the least spirit points. Because I don't really consider points to be spirit, and as much as it's blasphemous to say, I don't really consider "class competition," to be synonymous with spirit. Spirit isn't about beating the other classes. Spirit to me is pure and simple about the Class of '09. And I think this year especially, our class has done a great job of engaging in class "competition" only to the extent that it energizes our own class. And I thought today's rally and all year has been a lot fun, and I think the class has really done a great job with the better parts of spirit: yelling wildly and bonding over three-legged races. Congrats Class of '09, the next few weeks will be fun.

That said, I don't think any other class in the entire universeeee will EVER know how much winning this rally meant to our class. Sure, winning the year would have been flipping awesome too, but this rally was the perfect way to end our four years at Harker.
Hell, we got Anand to dance to Spice Girls, it definitely doesn't get better than that. And I can honestly say that watching our entire class dance up in the bleachers was amazingly heart lifting.
The view was definitely better from down there ;)
And whoever heard of senior boosts? Every single one of those 11,000 something points we won today was hard earned.
So it's okay that we didn't win, the juniors deserve it too with all the work they put into it ...for just about everything, I suppose. But the important part is that we finally pulled together when we thought it was impossible freshman year, and the next three weeks will hopefully make up for the past four years. The foamfinger rollercoasters, the chants, the airhorns, the screaming, I wouldn't miss it for anything.
So at this point, I've come to terms with coming second, we should get the most improved award! Usually, that's probably pretty embarrassing but in reality, it shows how much effort and heart we put into it.
I say, screw the points! We graduate in three weeks and we have a world to look forward to.
Spirit has taught me to love this class with all my heart regardless of how terrible we are at trivial matters such as three-legged-races and pumpkin pie eating contests.
And it's one thing I will definitely miss in college. Part of what attracted me to USC was the amazing school spirit they had, but nothing will compare with screaming my heart out with these 170 something kids.
I LOVE this class, and I hope that as we scatter all over the States (into the amazing schools we all got into O_O), we make the best of our college experience and I wish only the best for the kickass class of '09 :)

So tomorrow is our last rally and this week has definitely had it's ups and downs....
and I don't expect to be sent out with "Good lucks" and "We'll miss you"s like we did the last class because to be honest, we're not well liked.
But I've decided that the most important thing is that we've really made it this far and I would do so much for this class.
We can be "that class" that loses spirit as seniors, but I guess that doesn't really matter anymore, does it? There is very little chance that we can make up the gap, and I also believe that half our class suffers from a thing called learned helplessness.
This year, we've worked ridiculously hard on getting our class together for that one last hurrah in Laguna and I think we've done a pretty good job at it. But no matter how hard we work and how much time and effort, bolts of cloth, laurels, rehearsals, paint, screams, we put into it, we won't win.
So we simply stop trying. For a couple hours. Then it's back to work!
That said, tomorrow is gonna be that much more fun because we're in it together to have a good last rally and not to win this silly little competition (actually, we plan on winning).
And I suppose I don't REALLY hate the juniors, I'm just fed up with their cockiness and the way they carry themselves because I really have no respect for their class. But I'm not going into detail because I'll just make enemies for myself (apparently I'm quite skilled at doing this without even provoking anyone...) and sound super bitter.
Which I'm not because they can win a regatta with a raftwithrails but at least our class likes each other.

GETTIN' JIGGY WITH IT
The mixer was aiiite hahaha not many people came but it was a good last dance for high school (minus prom). Afterwards, Deniz and I went to In n' Out and ate deliciously unhealthy food and laughed till we wanted to pee our pants. Literally.
Got home at midnight and slept late :/

Today is not a good day.
I definitely failed two tests today and I didn't get into _____ which was one of the few things that made me feel pretty good about going to USC and I also found out that ____ and ____ had crappy relationships and that made me kinda worry about the future for some reason.
And because they scheduled senior stuff sunday morning. Don't other people go to church too??? I guess it's okay if I skip and then go to lunch with my cousin because he's going back to Australia soon.
So now I'm thinking about getting married
Kinda like how people are so likely to change after they get married and that's one of my worst fears.
I don't want to be in one of those relationships that fail when I'm like OLD or something -_-

Saturday was super super busy T_T
I woke up at like 9 AM which is super early for a Saturday and took a shower and drove to Harker (I DROVE) to work on the senior mural. Then I drove home, changed, and we went back to Harker to pick up Mai at 1 PM. We then drove to San Mateo for the USC reception which was meh. Most of it, I already knew. But it was cool that there were two reps from Annenberg and two students in Annenberg so I really got to talk to the professors for a long time. Mai got bored though bcus there were 87234839 people in her session. She sat next to Aaron Wessels! Har har I'm a creeper. I also saw Steven An and 928394 Harker kids.
Woo okay then we drove back to SJ and ate dinner at Johnny Rockets (ewww) and walked to the Center of Performing Arts. Won already saved a place in line but we waited for a good HOUR whilst the rest of the Harker children (cheated and) congregated at our place as they got there. It was kind of ridiculous, aside from getting cheated out of of 25 dollars per ticket, two doors opened on opposite sides of the building so it essentially didn't matter when you got there. Then we had to wait in the building for like half an hour packed like sardines and it was gross and hot and aodijf. Then we got our seats which were OKAYY but I'm not complaining hahaha.
ANDY WAS AMAZING, the local crews were pretty impressive. Super Cr3w was def anti-climactic. Whatever, it was fun. And helped educate children in Kenya.
Sunday, we went to church and thaaan went to Pasta Pomodoro for lunch. I ATE SO MUCH. Then we went to look at some Ferraris and stopped by Ben&Jerry's on the way back. I feel 10 pounds heavier T_T. Then I worked on my senior collage because I kind of forgot to work on my Thiele worksheet until now.
And I still have stuff to prepare for and blarjdsf FML! I guess it's my fault but seniors shouldn't have to work this hard T_T.

At the moment, Deniz and I are watching prom-asking videos as the season of prom-asking has begun!
Last night, Won and I went to see the musical. It was good but hard to understand because I don't think all of their mics were on O_O. Anyway, today, I went to the baseball game with David and we won 20-0 in like the 5th inning. And Sean stole home! HAHA Then Deniz and I went to Johnny Rockets (EWW) and walked around and bought some bubblegum and bouncy balls.
Then we met with the guys at something Adobe, this mexican restaurant? It was good :B

Today, I woke up around 9:30 AM which is relatively good for me. I didn't really do anything useful though, I finished reading the AP Psychology modules and creating Vocabulary Lists for extra credit so I guess that's pretty good.
Hmm then I made a trip to Trader Joe's to buy some flowers for Ana and Ida. Yay for spring! I bought them daisies, the flowers there are so cheap! And pretty :) only 6 dollars a bouquet. I think daisies are my favoritest. I wrote about them a year ago! Haha I remember because Heidi gave me a daisy on that particular day, the day I got my permit. Which was a little less than exactly a year ago.
Anyway, then I went downtown SJ and watched Ana and Ida's senior recital (which was amazing) with Simran and thenn left with her and her sister to eat some Penguin Froyo. It's pretty good, they give you a lot but the toppings are kind of pricy :/ So I got half regular half vanilla with chocolate chips. There was a weird couple in there and the guy kept talking to me -_-. Then I went home!
I went running today, it HURT. But only after that first mile, which is pretty good considering I haven't really exercised in a good 7 months.
I started studying for APs! Exciting.
And that is the end of my wonderful day.

I don't update very often anymore, but I don't think I have very many readers anymore either hahahaa....
This whole blog hype has really gone down, I think. Although I guess it would be cool if everyone had a blog. Kinda like the good ol' xanga days. Technically I've been blogging for a good 6 years O_O
I have a huge cankersore thing in my mouth because I decided to be responsible and wear my retainer for the first time in like, a month. And it hurts to eat T_T What could be worse? Actually, many things. AND I have a dentist appointment on Sunday, BLARGLEBLARGEBLARGLE.
Today, I need to get Rain Man so I can finally get started on this Psych project. AND ALSO, drop by Ms. Aguero's and drop off some schnitzle. I really want to go shopping but I don't think I can T_T.
I want to do something like go with the guys to the Giant's game on Friday. Or go to Klub Ice on Friday.

We went to the beach, the weather was almost perfect (perfect would be 72.5 :D) and it was goood despite the fact that there was really no grill so we kinda gave up on the hotdogs. We dropped by Armadillo Willy's instead. I'M TIRED, the sun definitely drained all the energy out of me :)
